If You Can Buy It, You Don't NEED It.

What are you getting rid of today?

I need to do a purge~we never got around to school clothes shopping, so I have to weed out the outgrown and worn out for the boys, plus my closet could use a thinning before I do my seasonal clothing switch. I have shoes that have to go as well, but that is like parting with a best friend.

I left you a math problem (or 2 or 3) on my blog. Let me know how long the first one takes.

I'm getting rid of papers I don't need. I'm also making a pile of things to donate to Goodwill or give away via freecycle.com in the garage. So far, a set of plates, 2 sets of silverware, and lots of clothes.

@Phyllis - Yeah for purging! Set up an appointment with yourself to get it done. I'll pop over and see what math problems you've got there.....hmmmmm, I'm curious.

@Stevie - I love Freecycle.com, awesome! Now is the time for you to get rid of everything extra in your home before Carlyn arrives. Homeless shelters are great for clothes.

I'm mailing my niece (18 months old) all our baby-sized forks and spoons. My youngest is 9 years old. Time to say good-bye!

@Jackie - definitely time to rid your home of those baby forks and spoons....on a different note: I tend to fill up when my tank hits 1/4 tank. Just that auto engineer inside thinking about the fuel pump working harder and failing.

Amen sister! I just took a huge bag of clothes to Goodwill. AND there is still more that can be sorted and donated but they are in my husband's closet under lock and key! Something tells me he is on to my purging...you think???

@Tracee - I've got bolt cutters in my car. That lock will just pop off that door.
